IMPCO Technologies’ systems Granted Regulatory Approval IMPCO IMPCO Technologies inc.(Santa Ana, Calif),a subsidiary of Fuel Systems Solutions Inc, has received regulatory approval from the California Air Resources Board (CARB)and the Environmental protection Agency(EPA)for its range of propane and gasoline General Motors industrial engines. “These CARB and EPA approvals represent the first approvals on the GM industrial engine range for the North American industrial emissions cycle, which begins on Jan,1,2010”.said Richard Nielsen, IMPCO general manager,” Our fuel systems and engine packages for industrial applications supply complete solutions in both emissions-certified and non-certified markets worldwide”,For2010,the company will offer certified industrial fuel systems and engine products under the IMPCO Industrial Engines brand. In related news, IMPCO`s automotive division has secured initial orders of EPA-certified bi-fuel systems from key fleet customers, including Chesapeake Energy Corp, Apache Corp, Andarko Energy, DCP midstream Partners, Laredo Energy, and National Oilwell Varco, Others include state and municipal entities, among them the Texas Department of Transportation, the Railroad Commission of Texas, and the city of Norman, Okla.
